GILLETTE, Wyo. — An ongoing sewer improvement project will affect the water supply to multiple businesses on Thursday, according to the City of Gillette.

On Aug. 31, water will be shut off while a water valve and fire hydrant are replaced as a part of the Fir Avenue Sewer Improvement project, the city says.

The shutoff will begin at 11 p.m. and continue until 5 a.m. Sept. 1, affecting the nearby Pizza Hut, Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, Subway and Motel 8, per the city.
